Lucy blog

Lucy is a very interesting chimp with in the experiment that was conducted on her. the experiment treated her and raised her as a human ever sense she was born. this resulted in many interesting discoveries. Lucy taught us that other animals have the capacity to think and lie in defense. she also showed us the that animals have the capacity to make up things so they think at a level and its not just a connecting pictures with words but mixing those words. i think this story changed my view on chimps because it was explaining how complex they can be. this experiment was defiantly worth while showing us that we are not the only ones out there that think at a complex way. the ending of this story was really sad the fact that they had to let her go because she was very attached to humans.

Electronic cars for the ecosystem

Shai Agassi purposed in his ted talk a better way to make the earth better by not putting gas in the air or using and drilling for oil. When he had this thought his first approach was to go with ethanol. Later, though, through research he found out that ethanol would require everyone to have almost an amazon forest in there yard. His next thought was to use hydrogen. When he looked in to this next Idea he found out that hydrogen would take up a lot more energy to make cars run. Finally he had it! He looked around and in to it and came up with electricity.

            As he started researching more he learned that using energy would not only be cheaper but more efficient. He purposed that everywhere you could park there would be a charger for your car. Knowing that electric cars can only go so far without charging, and charging a car would take a while he had the idea of a machine like a car was that swaps the batteries

Thinking Like a Mountain

This short story Thinking Like a mountain by Aldo Leopold starts out really slow and un exciting with its talk about the scenery but as the story goes in deeper he starts to explain about how things are deeper down. The story explains much oh how all living things have feelings and not only just humans. I think that this story does a great job with changing some ones feelings. As I have felt that all living things are equal this story has enforced that fact even more.
